In an effort to help students with the expenses of their education, USU Eastern has committed itself to the scholarship program.
To be awarded a scholarship, students must apply for admissions to USU Eastern by the March 1st deadline. Students are also strongly encouraged to apply for federal financial aid at fafsa.gov.
 

Academic Scholarships


Incoming Freshmen:
To be considered for an academic scholarship simply apply for admissions to USU Eastern by March 1st. 
All applications will be automatically considered for the academic scholarship if received by the March 1st deadline. See the Scholarship Index for qualifications.
   

Returning Students:
Complete the Returning Students Academic Scholarship Application to be considered.

Departmental Scholarships


Departmental Scholarships are awarded to students who are planning to major in a specific area or have proven abilities in specific areas. Departments may not require students to major in the area, but students should plan to participate in the department if they are awarded.

Private Scholarships


The USU Eastern scholarship program is funded in part by the generous donations of businesses, corporations and individuals who contribute annually to our endowment funds. Some may have special interests or unique criteria. All students who apply for scholarship at USU Eastern will be considered for all awards, based on the information provided by the applicant on this scholarship application.
   
Students who receive a scholarship from a specific donor will be asked to write a letter of appreciation to the donor, in cooperation with the Office of Institutional Advancement.
 
Students do not apply for these scholarships individually. Awards are matched to applicants based on the information provided on this scholarship application.

Athletic Scholarships


To be considered for an athletic scholarship you must contact the USU Eastern Athletic Department.

Leadership Scholarships


Leadership awards are based on leadership experiences gained in high school, college, clubs, employment, community service, etc.
